Inspire EdVentures

Overview

Dr. Michael Windelspect contracted playdeadpixel to revamp his academic adventure tours in Belize. Inspire EdVentures aims to engage students in immersive learning experiences about Belize's ecology, culture, and lifestyle, while also providing a virtual exploration of these adventures online. The project had initially been developed using WordPress, but had become unmanageable.

As part of the project's migration, I collaborated with content curators and academic experts to streamline dense text and create compelling copy that infused a sense of youthful curiosity into the website and brand. While Inspire EdVentures has deep roots in its existing brand and color palette, we introduced modern fonts, playful shapes, high-resolution imagery, and approachable language to enhance accessibility and align with contemporary design trends.
