All in the details
Refining the design of the beaker to more accurately depict an Erlenmeyer flask is essential for enhancing the overall clarity and relevance of the visual communication. The chemical solution and gas bubbles should maintain their organic interaction with the flask, but adjustments are needed to ensure this relationship is harmonious and visually appealing.
Outdated gradients and stylistic choices from previous designs can detract from the modern aesthetic. By eliminating these elements, the design will feel fresh and contemporary.
Incorporating a modern geometric sans serif typeface will provide a clean and legible textual element that complements the refined flask illustration. Thoughtful color choices will infuse the composition with a sense of vibrancy while honoring the original form, effectively bridging the gap between classic scientific imagery and current design trends.
Project Highlight
Ricochet Science was an impactful project that involved migrating platforms and orienting a new customer to the Squarespace platform. This initiative provided an opportunity to engage with the academic environment of science and present it in a way that appeals to a broader audience. We focused on both visual representation and the technical writing aspects contributed by RS authors to make scientific concepts more accessible to the public.
